FERE-EN-TARDENOIS
In the center of the town, the former cornmarket, built in the 16th century under the rule of Anne of Montmorency, sheltered the corn exchange, most of which was stored in the huge loft above it. Converted into a military hospital during WW1, it now shelters the weekly market held on Wednesdays mornings. Guided tours (minimum 10 people), reservations must be made at the Tourist
