Museums and essential places located today in a peaceful landscape still marked by the scars of global conflicts, including the World War I and the infamous Battle of the Marne. 

Through the intervention of expeditionary forces, whose troops of the Marine Corps of the United States of America (USMC), the country has defeated the enemy with a very heavy price. Many soldiers died and survivors have mostly been repatriated on the soil of the United States of America. Thousands lie on the ground of the south Aisne, where they fell, including Belleau and Seringes -and-Nesles.
